Japan

Ohaiyoo! Hajimemashite! Welcome to Japan.Once you think of Japan, what you think of it first? Cos play? Kawaii girls? Fashion? As for me, Sakura is the first thing that will appear in my mind first. Sakura is cherry blossom. It is very pretty and nice scene when you get to see the Prunus ( genus of tree, includes plum, cherrie and so on) is full of sakura.
During Sakura season, the air ticket to Japan will be higher than usual. Basically, the visitors who wants to see sakura blooming, the safe time for them will be end of March to early April. Actually no one knows the exactly timing for sakura blooming seasons. You will not know until maybe into March. If you go too early, you only get to see the sakura on the tree, if you go too late, you can only see the sakura on the floor. So the best idea would be staying at Japan more than one week, so the chance of seeing sakura full blooming is higher.

Greece,Santorini

I bet everyone have in their mind the top ten dream places they wish to go. I would like to share with you the first place that I wanted to go so much in the coming future. It is Santorini! It has another name that the Chinese call the 'Sea of Love'. It is one of the famous spots for the newlyweds because Santorini is the perfect place for pre-wedding photo shooting, the wedding ceremony itself and even for honeymoon. I guess it would be everyone's dream to have their wedding ceremony here!

So, why Santorini?

Okay, in case you do not know how Santorini looks like, I have already uploaded a couple of pictures here to show you the breathtaking scenery of its town area and sea view.

Santorini is actually a volcanic island, it is located just 200 km off the Greece mainland. What attracted me the most about this island is its beautiful sunset and buildings. In Santorini, you might not be seeing the usual sunset colors which are either yellowish or dark orange, yet you will encounter an unusually beautiful sunset which is something similar to pinkish purple.

The sunset off the Santorini coast.

Before reaching Santorini, you can drop by Athens to visit some famous places and try some of its awesome food. Along Athens' streets, you can see many stalls selling sesame donuts. They are like everywhere around the city! The donuts are called kalouri. They are extremely cheap as each of them will only cost no more than RM 1.

There are many ways to Santorini from Athens, by flight or ferries. How to go to Santorini
By clicking the link, you will be shown many routes to Santorini. There are many detailed information given in this website. They will  definitely come in handy when you are lost in the city.

There are many hotels in Santorini to accommodate the huge numbers of tourists. You may find that there will be at least a dozen of hotels along every street in Santorini ranging from the low budget motel to five star hotel. Fira is the main capital in Santorini, hotels here are usually of higher standard and they are rated at least four star. However, if you are looking for cheaper accommodation, you can actually take a brief 20 minutes walk out of Santorini and you will find yourself plenty of affordable hotels.

In Santorini, most of the hotels are using white and blue colour as the main theme in their rooms. White and blue colour are actually the traditional colour in the island and they are especially ideal for weddings and parties. You will not regret staying here because the facilities are in perfectly good orders and the price is quite reasonable too.

This is a luxurious hotel, Astarte hotel. This hotel provides rooms with different themes and different interior designs. In the balcony, you can enjoy the view of sunset and also the beautiful sea view.

One of the famous activities in Santorini is wedding ceremony. Santorini have the perfect criteria for couples who are having their pre-wedding photo shooting. Most of the five star hotels do provide wedding packages for couples. Not only that, the newlyweds who go for honeymoon will also enjoy it as they will have their own hotel packages too.

Interestingly, you will find a lot of donkeys in Santorini. You can go for a donkey ride if you wish to. It is very common for the Greek, donkeys have already been used as transport since years ago.

Words just could not describe how special Santorini is. Never miss out this place and remember to add it to your top ten dream places! That's all for this post and I hope you enjoy it! See you!
